Truly Julie rocking the blue carpet at The Smurfs premiere.
What a dream come true!! I grew up watching “The Smurfs” in Korea as a kid…so when I was asked to play myself in the movie…I almost passed out. My 3 second cameo (which happens within the first 5 mins of the movie) was initially a 10 second scene, with about 3 lines. The end result? I got 1 line in there! And believe it or not…that 3 second scene was a 6 hour day of shooting. We did 6 or 7 takes total..but since it was a party scene with lots of extras…it took a while to coordinate each retake. 
My scene is of me coming down the stairs with the bodacious Sofia Vergara (twitter: @SofiaVergara), so I guarantee: NO ONE IS LOOKING AT ME (apparently I may be wrong on this: CarlosCS5 posted this!) But the memory of this glorious day will last in my mind for years to come. I’ve covered dozens and dozens of premieres…but this was my first time actually getting to walk the “blue carpet”, too. If the Julie Chang…or Juyoung…at age 7 knew this day was coming….WOW. Click here to see my BIG cameo (an oxymoron).
