The Cloisters: Hidden Gem of Manhattan

People…you have got to get yourself to The Cloisters to witness the stunning fall foliage while it lasts. I mean…who needs the electric colors of Times Square, when mother nature puts on this kind of show?! I love how this one leaf below looks like a “butterfly.” I know what you’re thinking…’The Cloisters is so far’. It’s not…though, it certainly looks that way. With its medieval castle and lush cloistered gardens, you’re going to feel like you got a bargain trip in $$ and time to Scotland. If a Soho girl (insert: finger pointing to me)…whom considers 17th Street to be uptown…can hike it up there (it was 15 minutes by car), then I think it’s manageable for most:)
